Jim is a second generation San Francisco ad professional now living in Bernal Heights with his wife and their delightful new white Swiss shepherd puppy. Earning an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School before entering the family trade, Jim made his mark on both the agency and the client side. Kicking off his career at Ogilvy & Mather, San Francisco, Jim worked alongside Hal Riney with clients including California First Bank, Henry Weinhard’s Beer, the Oakland A’s and Swanson Foods. He went on to openHal Riney’s Chicago office in order to take on client Anheuser-Busch before running Young &Rubicon’s Heileman and Bond Brewing business. During his time in Chicago, he worked with Stroh and Aspen. Jim has managed a range of clients and projects like Union Bank, Dolby, Yahoo, Linksys, Lenovo, Disney, Premise Heath, Virgin Charter, Crystal Cruises, and Subaru Asia. When steering the digital marketing services practice for Sapient in the West, he recognized the need to put the focus on better customer experiences and left to establish Cibo as a partner.
