When Michael’s not at a local café dreaming of launching a satellite office in Italy, he’s leading creative teams with a rich blend of passion and insight. Working in design for over two decades, he has shaped concept and form across a variety of environments. Starting out as a typographer and designer at a small creative studio, Michael designed for the likes of Adobe and IBM before he served as Design Director at Clement Mok + Studio Archetype. In his role at Sapient, he led brand design, and at Gap, he guided creative teams across both brand and digital commerce efforts. He teamed up with launch partners at Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures, and The New York Times as the Creative Director for Storied, a publishing startup. Michael has also crafted brand experiences for Gap, PBS, Room & Board, Subaru, Salesforce, and Cisco. Regardless of the medium, he always brings innovation to the thinking, and beauty to the work.
